Velvet Drive

Dan Frantz and I wrote, shot, and directed Velvet Drive over the course of ten days during the coldest period of Winter 2015 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. While it feels like a student film, I'm proud of the fact that it exists since we made it happen despite everything working against us. Before production even started we were dealing with trucks being crashed into garage doors, locations falling through, and I personally caught a virus that kept me sick all throughout production. Also, we shot it on no budget with non-professional actors using only one sourcefour light and a Sony A7sii cranked up to 20000 ISO, and one sequence was shot on Kodak 500T Super8mm film.
